Gregory Burke, CFA

Research Analyst

Greg is a Research Analyst of Proficio Capital Partners focused on Fixed Income.  In his capacity, Greg assist with fixed income idea generation and portfolio construction. In addition to fixed income, Greg covers Proficio’s uncorrelated alternative strategies, where he sources and tests investable investment strategies with return streams that are uncorrelated from traditional capital markets.  He also leads the research and portfolio optimization efforts for our Canadian based accounts.  Greg serves on the firm’s investment committee where he splits his time on both public and private investment solutions.

History

Prior to working at Proficio Gregory worked in a co-op position at Wellington Management company in both Boston and in London U.K. working on the Fixed Income desk, where he worked with EMEA, Global Rates, and European Credit teams.

Education

Greg holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the Boston CFA Society.  Gregory is an Alumnus Northeastern University where he pursued a combined major in Economics and Finance. In addition to academic life, Gregory was given a scholarship to row as a Division One athlete for Northeastern Men’s Rowing team.

Outside the Office

Outside of the office Gregory is an active skier in the winter time and enjoys participating in local events and causes.  Greg resides in South Boston.
