Taylor Topakov

Director, Client Service

At Proficio, Taylor serves as a Director in the Client Service Group, providing comprehensive advisory services designed to meet the complex needs of ultra-high-net-worth families, including structuring strategies, tax-efficient estate planning, and overall family office management. Taylor is dedicated to building long-term relationships with her clients by thoroughly understanding their goals, values, and family dynamics through a highly communicative approach.

History

Prior to joining Proficio, Taylor served as an Associate Director on the Family Office Management Team at TwinFocus Capital Partners. In her role, Taylor developed and executed comprehensive wealth management strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients, encompassing trust and estate, charitable, and investment planning, while providing detailed financial modeling and risk assessments.

Prior to that role, Taylor served as the Director of Family Office Services at a boutique multi-family office, where she honed her expertise in managing intricate family wealth issues & leading a team. She began her career at Bain Capital, LLP which grounded her a strong foundation within the industry by focusing on complex wealth planning & operations for the firm’s Partners.

Education & Affiliations

Taylor holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management, and an MBA from Northeastern University. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds a Series 65 license.

Outside the Office

Taylor grew up in the Boston suburbs and now lives in East Boston with her husband and their Chow Chow, Rocko. In her spare time, she enjoys boxing, playing co-ed softball, and traveling. Taylor is also dedicated to mentoring through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, where she and her husband have mentored a young boy for the past five years. Additionally, she is active in the Invest in Girls program, which aims to develop financial literacy among young girls and support young women aspiring to careers in finance.
