Peter Kronberg

General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

As General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer Peter is responsible for ensuring Proficio always operates legally. He manages Proficio’s compliance program and keeps the firm informed of all relevant regulatory matters. Peter is actively involved in client matters. Peter holds a Series 65.

History

Prior to joining Proficio, Peter served as Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel for Haber Trilix Advisors and Ten Asset Management. He has headed teams providing investment company services to mutual and index funds and their investment advisors at Citi, Bysis and Investors Bank & Trust. Peter has broad experience providing legal counsel and compliance services with law firms and to start-ups, hedge funds, public and mid-sized companies. He lectures on Business Law at Tufts University. He has practiced law in Massachusetts since 1988.

Education

Peter holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University of Law and an undergraduate degree from University of Kansas. He was also an exchange student at Eidgenossische Techniche Hochschule, Zurich, Switzerland.

Outside the Office

Peter is actively involved in his community services as the Sunrise Construction Community Liaison and Former Chair of Elementary School Equity Committee for Newton and Former Board Member Hillel B’nai Torah. Peter has taken US military veteran’s benefit cases for The Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School and worked with the Boston Youth Leadership Corps as a member of the Boston Bar Association. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture and resides in Newton, MA with his two daughters.
